What Supervision can Offer

Clinical supervision provides space to reflect on cases, strengthen clinical judgement, and deepen ethical decision-making. It offers both support and accountability, helping you grow in confidence while maintaining professional integrity.

Who I Supervise

Supervision is available for:

  • OCSWSSW and CRPO registrants
  • New clinicians seeking structured supervision
  • Practitioners working with trauma and complex presentations
  • Social workers and psychotherapists wanting ongoing consultation
  • Clinicians navigating ethical or clinical uncertainty 

 

Professional Qualifications

As a Registered Master’s-level Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), I am qualified to provide clinical supervision to registrants of both OCSWSSW and the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).

I have completed formal supervisory training through the SickKids Centre for Community Mental Health Learning Institute and PESI. My supervision experience includes working with Master’s-level clinicians in intensive mental health settings as well as virtual practice environments.

My Supervisory Approach

My supervisory style is collaborative, reflective, and grounded in trauma-informed and attachment-based principles. I value honest dialogue, clear feedback, and thoughtful challenge.

I believe clinicians are not expected to know everything, and growth happens when there is space to ask questions, reflect on mistakes, and think critically about practice. I intentionally foster an environment that balances psychological safety with professional accountability. Thoughtful humour has a place in supervision, and so does direct feedback.

Supervision is available in individual or dyadic formats, depending on your needs and practice context.

Scope of Supervision

I do not provide supervision for couples or marriage counselling and am not formally trained in EMDR or addictions supervision. Referrals are available when appropriate.
